Mature Woman Stretch & Ride (4 weeks beginning June 8)

Typical riding lessons are geared toward the young, whose bodies recover quickly from a rigorous hour of riding, but body mechanics change as we age. Join us four Wednesday mornings for a lesson specifically designed to focus on the comfort and needs of the mature woman’s body.

We will start with gentle stretching, core building and balance exercises. After stretching, we will groom and tack the horses at a comfortable pace. Mounted lessons will include riding at a walk, learning stability and balance in the saddle. Each lesson will end with a short time of stretching.

This program runs for 4 consecutive Wednesday mornings from 10:30-Noon
